As the county is coming out of the effects
caused by Covid-19 effects, the government has offered a scheme to encourage
people to eat out again with a 50% discount on food and non-alcoholic drinks up
to £10 per person including children.
You need to know the following information:
'Eat Out to Help Out' scheme:
This is a UK-wide scheme to support 100K
businesses in the UK, to protect 1.80m jobs. More than 32K organizations have joined
in the scheme so far. This will help the businesses, the diners, the tourists, etc.
Duration of the scheme:
The scheme runs from 3rd to 31st
August 2020, only on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays every week.
Discounts:
Discounts apply only on eating to eating in
customers up to £10 per customer including children.
On food: 50%
Non-alcoholic drinks: 50%
No discount on alcoholic drinks
The scheme can be used as many times as one
likes.
Discount Voucher:
You do not need a voucher for this discount.
Which organization can join in the scheme:
•Restaurants
•Cafes
•Pubs that serve food
•Hotel restaurants
•Restaurants with cafes within the tourist
attractions, holiday sites, and leisure facilities
•Dining rooms within members' clubs
•Workplace and school canteens
Who can’t join:
•Establishments that only offer takeaway food
and/or drink
•Catering services for private functions
•Hotels that provide 'room service' only
•Dining services (such as packaged dinners on
cruises)
•Mobile food vans/trailers
