When will
pubs and restaurants reopen in the UK? See below:
The British #hospitality
sector like #restaurants, #pubs and #cafes closed their doors on 23rd
March 2020 as per the order given by the Government. Some of the restaurants
have kept their establishment open for takeaway and delivery services.
Hospitality sectors have been hit hard by the #coronavirus.
Restaurants, pubs and cafes is place for
public gathering where it is very difficult to maintain social distancing. For
this reason, government have decided to reopen this sector at last. As per the guidance
from the government, these hospitality places must remain close till early July
2020. The UK Government's Covid-19 recovery plan makes clear that hospitality places
must remain closed until July 4 at the earliest.
This #Covid-19
crisis has put a huge risk to the hospitality sectors, their employees, owners,
suppliers, wholesalers. Government have offered lots of help to the sector like
grants, furlough scheme etc. Still some of the restaurants will not survive
this crisis.
We are
hoping that the hospitality sectors can come up from this crisis and flourish
again.
